Free for students, researchers, hobbyists and early-stage developers.
Riot Games Open Access is the community's way in to official LoL Esports and VALORANT Esports data.
Riot Games' aim is more developers building on official esports data: analytics, content, performance tooling, community projects and research. Open Access is the first step on a clear path, from experimenting for free to building a product on broadcast-speed data.
Students, academics, hobbyist developers and early-stage projects. You declare your category and intended use when you register.
No. Open Access is for learning and experimentation. If your project is ready to commercialise, there are paid and application-based tiers. Contact GRID to find the right one.
No. Betting and gambling use is excluded, and you confirm this when you register.
Riot Games Open Access data is delayed to protect game integrity. The delay does not affect data granularity and should provide data at a sufficient speed for the early stages of a project.
Documentation and the GRID community on Discord are available once you have signed in.
